Howard R Hoover Sr. age 70, son of the late Kenneth and Eleanor Swartwood Hoover. Born in Harding, PA June 17, 1943. Graduated West Pittston High School 1961. Worked at Atlantic City Electric for 32 years and retired in 1998 as a control room supervisor. Member of Atlantic City Electric Quarter Century Club. Member of the Servicemen's Home, Salem County Sportmen's Club, Eagles, Moose, and the Brandywine Friends of Blue Grass Music.
Survived by wife of 50 years Janice (Waslick), sons, Howard Jr. and John Sr. Grandsons, John Jr., Shawn, Joshua, Howard III, James. Brothers Harold (Myrt) PA. Ernest (Janice) FL, sisters, Eleanor Ruth (Milton) PA, and Evelyn (John) FL, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Elaine and Lee, PA.
Predeceased by brothers, Kenneth, and Herbert. Thanks to staff at the Helen Graham Cancer Center.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday November 12th at Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 09:00 to 12:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown
