Obituary of Anthony F. Rafine

Anthony F. Rafine Born - March 2, 1935 Died - October 13, 2013 Tony was born in Salem, New Jersey to Victoria (Fallace) Rafine and David Rafine. He was the grandson of Anthony C. Fallace of Deepwater who raised him. Tony graduated from Penn Grove High School, served in the US Naval Reserves and the US Marine Corp. After 37 years working for DuPont Chambers Works and two years as a consultant, he retired to take a six year position as a Superintendent for the Highway Department in Pennsville Township. He also had a concrete business for many years with his sons and very good friend, Leo Steffier. Predeceased by his parents and grandfather, he is survived by his wife Margaret (Gant), children Jerome M. Rafine, Celia D. Rafine, Anthony T. Rafine (Cookie) of Pennsville, NJ and Monica J. Rafine of York Haven, PA; grandchildren Michael A. Rafine, Pennsville, NJ; Tierney J. Pope, York PA; and Anthony C. Tellex-Rafine of US Army; Michelle and Jamie Mundell of Pennsville, NJ; Great-grandchildren Alana, Caleb, Gianna, Jayce, and Johnna, brothers Erwin L. Brown (Sandy), Gary C. Brown (Cheryl), David Rafine (Laura) and James Rafine (Ann), all of Pennsville, NJ, and many nieces, nephews, caring in-laws and friends. Services shall be held at The Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, South Broadway, Pennsville, New Jersey on Saturday October 19, at 11:30 AM. There will be visitation one hour prior to Mass. Burial shall be at St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem, New Jersey immediately following the service.
