Barbara Mesogianes, age 76 of Pennsville passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday October 5, 2013. She was born in Piraeus, Greece and was the daughter of the late Dimitri and Helen Chronis. Barbara was a longtime Pennsville resident.
Survived by her children, Elaine A. Vice and her husband Billy, William J. Mesogianes and his wife Renee and Paul Mesogianes all of Pennsville, Brother, George Chronis, sisters, Marina Chambarry (Andrew), Katherine George and Ourania Regas, grandchildren, Billy Vice, Jr., Mark Mesogianes, Caitlin Mesogianes and Jordyn Mesogianes and also survived by her devoted partner Anthony Schettino.
Predeceased by her husband John Mesogianes (1990) and a sister, Mary Evgenis.
Barbara's greatest joy in life was being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and her family.
Funeral services will be held 11:30 AM Wednesday October 9th at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Wilmington, DE where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:30 prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 808 N. Broom St., Wilmington, DE 19806.
