Obituary of Arthur B. Brodsky

Dr. Arthur B. Brodsky, DDS, age 83 of Brigantine, NJ died Wednesday July 10, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Benjamin L and Freda Pomerantz Brodsky. Dr. Brodsky was a longtime Pennsville resident moving to Brigantine in 1991 following his retirement from his dental practice in Pennsville which he owned and operated from 1957 to 1991. He graduated from Central High School, Philadelphia-1947, Temple University, BA,-1951, Temple, Dental, DDS-1955. Art was on the staff of the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, retired lieutenant colonel in the Delaware Air National Guard, former member, president, Paul Harris Fellow of the Pennsville Rotary, former member of the Pennsville School Board, treasurer of the Atlantic City area Air Force Association. Art was active in the Brigantine Alliance Against Drugs and Alcohol. Dr. Brodsky was devoted to and respected by his patients and beloved by all his family and friends. Survived by his loving wife Irene (nee Gamerman) who were married October 1959, 3 daughters, Beryl Lynne Brodsky, Merle Elise Hereth and Jeryl Dawn Cummins; 4 grandchildren, Daniel, Kyra, Tyler, and KevinGraveside services with military honors will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday July 17 at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, 109 State Hwy 50, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.
