Patrick J. Dyer, age 53 of Pennsville passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Born on April 21 1960, he was the son of Joan (and the late Joseph Sr.) Dyer of Pennsville. He was a life-long resident of Pennsville. He is survived by his wife, Margaret (Renzi), and two children, son Kyle (Amanda) and daughter Ryann of Pilesgrove. In addition, he is survived by his sister, Deb (Bill) McGowan of Elsinboro, his brothers, Joseph Jr. (Susan) of Alloway, Thomas (Peg) of Pilesgrove, John (Shawn) of Pennsville, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and aunts and uncles.
He graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 1978, and then attended Western Connecticut College for two years. He worked at PSEG Nuclear for 27 years as a radiation protection technician. He was active in the community and local clubs, including serving on the Board of Directors at the Salem County Sportsmens Club. Pat enjoyed spending time with his family, coaching and playing basketball, fishing trips to Canada, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles & Phillies.
A viewing will be held Friday, June 21, 2013 at Laughrey Funeral Home, 1 N. Broadway, Pennsville, from 7-9 pm. Mass will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Queen of Apostles Church 391 S. Broadway, Pennsville. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
