Obituary of Daniel P Yunk, Jr.

Daniel P. Yunk, 82, of Pennsville, NJ, formerly of Bridgeton, NJ, died Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at the Christiana Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth, and son, Stephen, both of Pennsville, NJ., nieces: Patricia Brown of New Castle, DE, Elizabeth Henebry of Summerfield, FL, Lillian Roth of Pennsville; nephews: Daniel Hemple of Pennsville, and Larry, Gerry and Denny Yunk of Millville. He was preceded in death by his brother, Preston Yunk, of Millville, NJ and sister, Madeline Hemple of Lewes, DE. Dan served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed on the islands of Kwajalein, Honolulu and in Washington, DC. He was employed for many years by Electric Hose & Rubber Co. and Speakman Company in Wilmington, DE. At his request, there will be no viewing or service.
