Phyllis M. Kates (nee Cuff), age 77 of Pennsville, passed away on Wednesday December 26, 2012, after a brief illness. She was born in Salem, NJ on March 1, 1935 to the late Russell and Marie Cuff. She was the wife of the late Phillip M. Kates. Phyllis was a longtime resident of Pennsville and worked in Salem in many different jobs for over 35 years. She is survived by her sons Bruce H Kates of Pennsville and Kevin and his wife Joyce also of Pennsville, her sister Venus Klein of Middletown Delaware and a granddaughter Casie Kates of Newark Delaware
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Wed. Jan. 2, at the St. John's Episcopal Church, Salem. Friends may call Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family
