Kenneth Sherwood Karstetter, IV age 58 of High Point, NC died Sunday September 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Salem and is the son of Shelba Rosenberger and Robert Karstetter. Ken was a former longtime Pennsville resident. He is survived by his wife Debora Allen Karstetter, daughter, Bethany Allen Ayars, grandchildren, Savannah Ayars, Hailey Ayars, Lucas Ayars and Joseph Maness, Jr., stepfather, Harry Rosenberger, mother-in-law, Marie E. Allen, son-in-law, Donald Ayars, brothers and sisters, Kathy Karstetter Morgan, Barbara Karstetter Whittiger, Shelba Karstetter Emmons, Bobby Karstetter, Jeffrey Rosenberger, Mark Rosenberger, Todd Rosenberber, Scott Rosenberger, and April Rosenberger Smith. Predeceased by a daughter, Nicole Allen and his father-in-law Robert Allen. Kenneth was a loving husband, father, grandfather and son. He was a hard worker, which he loved. Before his passing he was involved with volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday Sept. 19, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. Burial of cremains will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to: Habitat for Humanity. This organization was dear to his heart.
