Doris Ruth "Geary" Wood, age 83 of Pennsville passed away peacefully into the Kingdom of Heaven on July 2, 2012 with her loving family by her side. She was born October 20, 1928 in Kulpsville, PA and was the daughter of the late Robert A. Geary, II and Lucinda Spears.

She is survived by her caring husband of 63 years, Floyd A. Wood, daughter, Delores R. Wood of Pennsville, sons, Floyd Albert Wood and his wife Linda of Knokesville, VA, and Michael David Wood and his wife Bonnie of Pennsville, grandchildren, MaLeah, Megen, Kelly, and Jessica. One of her main wishes which came true was for her to live long enough to see her grandchildren grow up and complete their college education. Her grandchildren consider her to be the best mom-mom ever. Doris' unconditional love of her 4 granddaughters will shine forever in their lives.

Predeceased by 5 brothers, Robert A. Geary, III, Paul M. Geary, Edward H. Geary, Albert S. Geary, and Charles DuBois.

Doris was an avid homemaker, allways cooking meals and hosting parties for family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her family, taking trips from Canada to the Grand Canyon. She loved her Church family and was a devoted member of the First Assembly of God Church of Carney's Point.

Funeral services will be held 11:00AM on Saturday July 7, at the First Assembly of God Church, 380 Georgetown Rd., Carneys Point, NJ where friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
