Thelma M. McGraw of Deepwater went home to be with the Lord on Monday May 7, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Pedricktown to the late Frank and Martha Rigler. She was raised in Pedricktown with her two brothers and one sister. Thelma's brothers the late Edward H. Rigler and his late wife Corinne and the Late William Rigler and his late wife Sara. Her sister the late Edythe R. Cobb and her late husband Bernard. She married the late Joseph B. McGraw, they moved to Deepwater in 1936 and was a resident for 76 years. They raised two sons, the late Joseph G. McGraw and his late wife Betty. Thelma lived with her son, M. Robin McGraw and there yorkie Miracle, granddaughter, Wendy McGraw and her son Isaiah of Pennsville. Thelma worked many jobs before she started her nursing career at Underwood Hospital for six years in the O.R. She went to The Memorial Hospital of Salem County as a Nurses Aid. She loved nursing, and went on to nursing school to get her L.P.N. license. She returned to the Memorial Hospital of Salem County where she retired with thirteen years of service She loved the Lord and reading her Bible and her daily bread. She got down next to her bed each night to pray. During her younger years she enjoyed baking and cooking and enjoyed ironing. She used to love to go shopping and spending time with her best friend the late Emma Hurlburt. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 10, at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
