Theodore J. Gentile, age 93 of Carneys Point passed away on Sunday April 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Winber, PA and was the son of the late John and Bridget (Fulgenzi) Gentile. Ted was a longtime Carneys Point resident. He was employed as an operator for the DuPont Chambers Works, Deepwater where he retired in 1978 following many years service and served his country in the US Navy During WWII. Survived by his children, Patrick Gentile and His wife Ann of New Orleans, LA, Susan Evans and Her husband Marvin of SC, William Gentile and his wife Mary of Pennsville, and Theodore Gentile, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Gulf Port, MS, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife of 71 years Margaret C. Gentile (2010) and 7 brothers & sisters. Special thanks to his daughter-in-Law, Mary, Helen, Nancy & Libby from the Hospice. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday April 13 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial with honors will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Memorial Home, Health & Hospice, 390 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
