Stella A. Bolen, age 84 of Pennsville and a former longtime resident of Austin, TX died Tuesday March 20, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Elgin, TX and was the daughter of the late Wallace and Mary Puckett Billingsley. She moved to Pennsville in 2002 to be with her daughter. She was employed as a clerk for the Texas Department of Transportation where she retired in 1993 following 36 years. When she moved to Pennsville she continued to work for Wal-Mart as a sales person and retired on February 2, 2012 with 22 years. Survived by her daughter Linda M. Gant and husband William, sister, Mary Miller and husband Melvin of Kyle, TX, grandchildren, Barbara Cannizzaro, Diane Donovan and husband Daniel, and Mary Gant, 7 great grandchildren, 2 great great granddaughters. Predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday March 23, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
