Charlotte Lockwood, age 73 died peacefully March 2, 2012 at Golden Rehabilitation & Nursing Care facility. She was born in Bishopville, Maryland to the late Edward and Sarah Lockwood. Charlotte was employed by Hygrades and then at the Plant One and Glasgow locations for DuPont. She enjoyed crocheting and shopping trips when living at Lutheran Towers in Wilmington, DE, but mostly spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Charlotte was always ready to provide care and shelter for any member of her family in need. She will be dearly missed for her loving kindness and gentle spirit. Along with her parents she was preceded by a brother, James and a sister, Mary Ann. Survived by her brother Howard Lockwood, and his wife Berta of Pennsville, two sons, Garry and his wife Kim of Pennsville, Daniel and his wife Michele of Newark, DE, 6 grandchildren; Chelsea, Shaye, McKenna, Noah, Adam and David and her many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday March 6, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Dagsboro Redmans Cemetery, Dagsboro, DE
