John M. Slovak, age 47 of Pennsville died Sunday February 12 at his residence. He was born in Salem and was the son of the late John G. and Anna May Foster Slovak. John was a lifelong Pennsville resident.
He was employed for 8years at the PSE&G Artificial Island Nuclear Generation Plants Training Center as instructor in welding. Member of the FOP, Pennsville American Legion Post and NRA. He was veteran of the Coast Guard. Survived by his children, Jennifer A. Morgan and her husband of Victoria, British Columbia, and Kevin M. Slovak of Pennsville, loving ex-wife Dawn Slovak Erdonmes of Pennsville, God son, Ethan Hartley. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial with honors will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodston
