Obituary of Florence E. Jennings

Florence Elizabeth (Bischoff) Jennings known to friends and family as Connie, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9th. She was surrounded by her loving family at the home of her daughter and son-in-law Lorraine and Dave Kuhn, with whom she lived for the past 12 years. Born November 23, 1918, in Philadelphia, PA she was a longtime Pennsville resident. Connie was predeceased by her husband, Robert, of 52 years in 1994, her parents Charles and Nathle Bischoff, sister, Ethel Leone, brothers Calvin, Norman, Charles, and Howard Bischoff. Connie is survived by her four daughters, Pat Rossell (Lee), Lorraine Kuhn (Dave), Joan Bickley (Bill), and Judy Burnett (Dave) all of Pennsville. She is also survived by one brother Jim (Betty) Bischoff of Philadelphia, 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Connie enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. She was loved by everyone who met her and made everyone feel special. Connie attended Sharptown United Methodist Church before her illness. A visitation will be held at the church for family and friends on Friday, January 13, 2012, beginning at 11am. A service at noon in celebration of Connie's life will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Sharptown United Methodist Church, 24 Church St, Pilesgrove, NJ 08098 or Memorial Home Health and Hospice, 390 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070. Internment will be immediately following the service at the Veterans Cemetery in Pilesgrove.
