Mary Ann "Marie" Heck, age 91 of Pennsville formerly of Union, NJ died on Monday December 26, 2011 at the Christiana Hospital. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Fanning Carey. She has been a resident of Pennsville for the past 8 years. She was a former employee for the former Shering-Plough Pharmaceutical Company in Union, NJ where she retired. Survived by a son Charles E. Heck, Jr. of Middletown, NJ, niece, Roberta Starcevich with whom she lived, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Heck, Sr. (1963) and a son, Randy Heck (1980) Mass of Christian burial will be held be held 10:00 AM on Friday December 30, at the Queen of the Apostles RC Church, Pennsville. Burial will follow at the St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Make a Wish Foundation nj.wish.org/.
