Obituary of Harry W. Eckley

Harry W. Eckley, age 91 of Pennsville passed away at home on Monday December 5, 2011 after a short illness. Born in Philadelphia Harry was the son of the late William "Pete" and Agnes Lafty Eckley. Harry served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. He was employed at the DuPont Chambers Works from 1940 to 1980 where he retired with 40 years of service. Harry is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Kilpatrick Eckley, daughter, Kay Pedrick and husband Bob, 3 grandchildren, Daniel Pedrick and wife Diane, Barry Pedrick and wife Tara and Kevin Pedrick all of Alloway. 4 great-grandchildren Ryan, Matt, Megan and Andrew Pedrick whom he dearly loved. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thurs. December 8th at at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00-11:00 prior to the service. private burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Memorial Home Health & Hospice of Salem County, 390 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
