Thorley C. Halstead, age 80 of Harrington DE died Wednesday November 23, 2011 at the Kent General Hospital, DE. He was born in Bridgeton, NJ and was the son of the late Lloye E. and Mattie I. Sayer Halstead. Thorley was a Korean War Navy Veteran. Survived by his children Terri Meiers and her husband Roland, Ken Halstead and his wife Sherry, and Kim Cosaboom and her husband Jim, grandchildren, Beth, Katy, Jessie, Zach, James, Joshua, and Noah, great granddaughters Alexis and Peighton, sister, Betty Burich, and former wife Dorothy Sparks. Predeceased by grandson Steven, siblings Lloyd, Evelyn, Martha and Bob. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday November 26, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
