Shirley A. Osborn, 81, of Pennsville, NJ, passed away on January 17, 2025 surrounded by her loving children.

Shirley was born in Connellsville, PA to the late Genevieve and Joseph Shipley on October 25, 1943. She attended Salem High School, where she met her future husband, Herb. She worked for DuPont Chambers Works for over 30 years. In her younger years, she liked sports and played on Richie's Sporting Goods softball team for many seasons, winning a few championships, and also played volleyball. She was Herb's rock and partner for life in their many ventures, including farming and running a craft business, Pine Island Woodcrafters.

Shirley was a devoted mother, grandmother and sister. She enjoyed spending time with family, going to her children's and then her grandchildren's sports games. She had many lifelong friends and a close relationship with her sisters. Shirley was a bright light in numerous people's lives which cannot be replaced. She will be incredibly missed.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Herbert. She is survived by her sisters Constance (William) and Nancy, children Patricia (Patrick) and Brian (Ella), and grandchildren Michael (Amanda), Aidan, Cassandra and Aubrey.

Funeral services by Laughrey Funeral Home will be private.
