William "Bill" Edward Tiedeman Jr., age 84 a long time resident of Pennsville, New Jersey is resting safely in the arms of Jesus.
He was a graduate of Penns Grove High School in 1958.
After High School he entered the Marine Corps from 1958-1961, where he was stationed in Hawaii for 3 years.
He worked at DuPont Chambers Works for 35 years until he retired in 1997.
Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, to many in his community.
Bill loved hunting, breeding several championship field trial beagles, his horses and being a cowboy at the rodeo. Later in life he focused his limitless love on his grandsons, Dylan and Brandon. He loved going to their baseball games to support them. Watching them play was the highlight of the latter part of his life.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Tiedeman, and his parents, Elaine Stanton and William Edward Tiedeman Sr.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Michele Grygo, her husband Bryan, two grandsons Dylan and Brandon Grygo, his brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Ginny Tiedeman, niece Stacey (Tiedeman) Minch, nephews Wayne & Brian Tiedeman, and many beloved family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 17th at Laughrey Funeral Home, One North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
Family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, 719 Salem-Woodstown Rd, Route 45, Pilesgrove, NJ.
