Viola M. Banger Obituary

Viola Frances McLaren Banger age 94 went home to be with the Lord on Monday October 14, 2024. She was Born August 27th, 1930 to the late Howard Starr McLaren Sr. and Lena F. Causey.

Viola experienced the Great Depression and the hardships of World War II which made her strong and resilient throughout her life. Viola worked for the Pennsville School Districts Business office for many years. Viola was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Pennsville for 81 years serving as Treasurer, a Charter Member of the Pennsville Swim Club, and Traveled to Egypt and Isreal with her aunt, (Mary McLaren Linsey) in 1987.

Survived by Sons John Wesley Banger III, James Dale Banger, Jerry Lee Banger, and Jason Starr Banger. Sister, Erma McLaren Sparks. Niece Kathy McLaren Kraft

Grandsons Justin Wesley Banger, Joshua James Banger, Sean Christopher Banger, Jeremie Banger, Jordan Banger, and Joel Banger.

Granddaughter Laura Gayle Banger.

Great Grandsons Atticus James Banger, Benjamin Banger, Maverick Banger, Tyler Banger, Nikolaj Banger.

Great Granddaughters, Juliette Banger, Kylee Banger and Sophie Reese Banger.

Predeceased by Husband John Wesley Banger Jr. and Brothers Don McLaren and Howard Starr McLaren Jr.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church 75 South Broadway, Pennsville, New Jersey on Thursday October 17th, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery.
