Obituary of Peter J. DiSantis

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Peter John DiSantis Jr. on May 24, 2024, in Pennsville, NJ. He was born on 11/14/46 in Penns Grove, NJ. He retired from Boeing as a Draftsman and enjoyed watching Philadelphia Sports Teams and Nascar. He could also be found cruising the neighborhoods as the unofficial neighborhood watch, playing the lottery, and catching up with old friends. He greatly enjoyed sticking to routines such as; phone calls, messages, and naps. He graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 1964 and became very active in helping to plan class reunions. For a long time, he had served as a volunteer for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed helping others. He is survived by his children: Anthony J. (Luciana) DiSantis and Lisa (Matt) deShazo. His helpful ex-wife and friend, Patricia Keller. His siblings: Barbara (Wayne) Patrick, Joe (Donna) DiSantis. His grandkids: Jackson, Paige, Blake deShazo, and Sutton DiSantis. Along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father: Hannah Winfield DiSantis and Peter DiSantis Sr., his brother William (Bill) DiSantis, and his son Peter DiSantis III. We will be holding a celebration of life at Penns Grove-Excelsior Lodge #54 in Penns Grove, NJ on June 23 at 2PM. All are welcome to come and pay their respects. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
