Sheryl Lee Regner

February 26, 1959 – May 1, 2024


Sheryl Lee Regner (nee Hess) went home to be with the Lord suddenly on May 1, 2024. Born in Mannington and raised in Quinton, Ms. Regner settled and spent the remainder of her life in Pennsville. She worked for 25 years for the Host Marriott Service on the New Jersey Turnpike where she was an Administrative Assistant. In 1999 she met and married Edward Regner, with whom she spent the next 18 years.


Ms. Regner loved everyone and was loved by everyone. Her favorite saying was, "You Are Loved!" Her favorite things to do were camping and sitting on her porch with her husband. She also loved the Lord, attending the Pennsville Church of the Nazarene for many years and most recently attending the Pennsville Assembly of God. She served the church in many ways, acting as an Administrative Assistant, coordinating the Celebrate Recovery group, and being a GriefShare Facilitator.


Ms. Regner was predeceased by her husband Edward Regner; father Harry Hess; mother Janet Madison-Williams; and son Robert Tilton, Jr.;and grandson Justin Regner. She is survived by her children, Jerimie Scott (Venus) Glover; Christopher (Heather) Tilton; Christopher (Kristin) Regner; Melissa (Xerxes) Corpuz; Kimberly (Steven) Mosher; sister Nancy Morgan; brother Steven (Gloria) Hess; sister Valerie (Leaann) West. Additional survivors include 13 grandchildren and her two beloved furbabies Benji and Chance.


Services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Laughrey Funeral Home, 1 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ, with the viewing beginning at 10am and a celebration of life commencing at 11am. Burial will follow at Lawnside Cemetery, 896 NJ-45, Woodstown, NJ. The funeral reception will be held at the Pennsville Assembly of God, 328 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ.


In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in Sheryl Regner's name to Samaritan's Purse in aid of the recent Tornado disaster in the Midwest. This was a charity that Ms. Regner was very passionate about and contributed to faithfully.
