Jean A. Romansky Obituary

Jean Adele Romansky neé Keisen, born in Norristown, PA July 24, 1933 to Raymond and Helen (Honey) Keisen went to join her Lord and Savior and beloved husband Bob in heaven February 5, 2024. She is predeceased by her sister Pat Shipman (Bill), brother Thomas (Sally) Keisen and son Robert Romansky Jr. She is survived by her children Deborah Jones, William (Regina) Romansky, Susan (Frank) Sinigaglio, daughter in law Cynthia Romansky, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren (1 deceased), and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Jean loved and nurtured her children and grandchildren. She turned that love into a career in education. She taught kindergarten and first grade in Pedricktown, Pennsville, Salem, and Delaware then retired to a life of travel and Hiking. They visited all 50 states, hiking all the high points except Denali. She started running in middle age and kept fit through weightlifting and exercise. She was very proud that, until her first stoke, she bench pressed reps of 50 lbs. daily.

Her personal ministry of card and letter writing to friends and strangers alike was very dear to her. If you ever received a birthday card from her you might still be cleaning the confetti from your floor.

"Her love of God showed in her radiant smile and warm, gracious personality. Until the end of her life that smile blessed everyone she saw."

Please join the family at Laughrey Funeral Home in Pennsville for services Thursday, February 22nd from 5:30-6:30 pm for visitation with services at 6:30 pm.
