Obituary of Nancy L. Gerber

Nancy Lynn Gerber 72, of Quinton, NJ, passed away on Jan 7th, 2024. Nancy was born in Wilmington, DE to Warren and Dorothy Gomeringer on Jan 1st, 1952. She went to high school at Pennsville High School and graduated in 1970. She worked as a Secretary for the Pennsville School District for many years. She was an avid quilter and an incredibly talented artist. She brightened every room with her energy, smile and wit. Nancy is survived by her husband, Keith Gerber; son, Michael Childs (wife Tracey); daughter, Karen Banker (partner Angie); son, Clint Gerber (wife Nadia); son, Aaron Gerber (wife Karen); son, Stephen Gerber (wife Kim); sister, Charlaine Hutchinson (husband Jim); brother, John Gomeringer (wife Cathy); sister, Susan Gonzales (husband Kirk) and many Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews who will all miss her dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Dorothy Gomeringer, sister, Judy Clemente and sons, William Childs, and Thomas Childs. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday January 12 at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, 896 NJ-45 Woodstown NJ, 08098. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Renee's Rescue, of Hockessin, DE.
