Herbert W. Osborn, 80, of Pennsville, NJ, passed away on December 24, 2023.

Herb was born in Salem, NJ to the late Frances (Lingle) and James Osborn on December 12, 1943. He attended Salem High School. He worked in the Chemistry Lab for DuPont Chambers Works for 38 years. He enjoyed farming, softball and woodworking. He coached Richie's Sporting Goods women's softball team for many years (and won a few championships!) and also played in coed softball. He owned a woodworking business, Pine Island Woodcrafters, creating unique and beautiful ornaments, clocks, and crosses among other items.

Herb is survived by his wife, Shirley Osborn, children Patricia (Patrick) and Brian (Ella) and grandchildren Michael, Aidan, Cassandra and Aubrey. He is preceded in death by his brothers James and William.

Funeral services by Laughrey Funeral Home will be private.
