Elizabeth (Betty) A. Cordano sadly passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2023.

Betty was born March 8, 1961, at her family's home in Deepwater NJ. She resided in Penns Grove and attended Penns Grove High School. She joined the Army Reserves and was stationed at Sievers-Sandberg Base (DOD) in Pedricktown, NJ. She served as a 71L Administrative Specialist while working as a supervisor at Wire Pro Inc, in Salem NJ. After leaving the military, Betty became a home health aide and worked for Salem County Hospital. She also studied Public Speaking at Gloucester County College and Programing at Salem Community College.

Betty was a devoted mother and enjoyed spending time with her son, Luke. She enjoyed collecting antiques, music of all kinds, and was an avid animal lover.

She is predeceased by her mother and father, Dorothy, and Joseph Cordano. She is survived by her son Luke Iles; sisters, Mardi Noble, Jo Ann Bradley; niece and nephew, Jaime and Scott; several cousins, many friends, and her cat Kiki.

There will be a memorial service in her honor on December 29, 2023, from 2-4 at the Church of Nazarene-Pennsville, 172 Churchtown Road. In lieu of flowers the family would ask that donations be submitted to the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
