I met Mrs. Bell through my love of plants….I always enjoyed her visits and our conversations. Her care and concern for her students was evident in the way she spoke of teaching. Brendan and Alicia, my thoughts and prayers are with you both.

I met Ann Marie my second year at SCC, when one of our student-athletes was having difficulty in one of her classes. I was impressed that she would reach out to me as Athletic Director to express concern for a member of one of our teams. She expressed sincere concern and a willingness to go above and beyond expectations for the student. I came to realize that this was a normal act for her, as she was totally dedicated to SCC students success. In one of our conversations, we got to know a little about each other, and we discovered that we were fellow graduates of State University of New York at Brockport - proud Golden Eagles! SCC will sorely miss Ann Marie, her skill at teaching, and her concern for her students. And I will miss my friend.
