M. Joyce Coles,82, passed away peacefully on September 22nd at her home surrounded by her daughters after a brief battle with cancer.

Joyce was born on August 10,1941 to Junior and Charlotte (Dyer) Shaffer in Woodstown, NJ.

Joyce was a Nascar enthusiast, avid camper, who loved riding motorcycles, playing cards and social outings with her "girls".

She worked for over 20 years at the Woodstown Diner. She was known for being kind, generous and easy to talk to. She was a caring friend with a quick smile and an open heart.

She has joined her beloved husband, Donald and their three dachshunds.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Wanda Jones (Jack) of Fort Pierce Florida, daughter Cheryl McGowan (Kenneth) of Charlotte North Carolina, son Danny Edwards Jr (Melinda) of Hancocks Bridge New Jersey, her grandchildren, Katie, Veronica, Zeke, Wayne, Brett, Kyle and great-grandson Keola.

Those who loved her and want to pay respect the funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday September 26th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgorve, NJ
