William D. Frie of Pennsville went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Bill, or Little Frie as he was affectionately known by so many of his friends was born to Raymond and Clementine Frie on December 9, 1948. Bill was a proud Vietnam Veteran. After coming home, he worked at Mannington Mills and retired from Atlantic City Electric. He loved classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows with his many friends. Left to cherish his memory are his son Andy King (Mary), daughter Ginny DeVore, brother Raymond Frie (Sue), sister Mabel Papsin (Tom), grandchildren Jeffrey Fahrner, Casey Moran, Ryan, Noah, and Noel King, and great grandchildren Jeffrey, Lyla, and Benjamin. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Darlene, daughter Kelly King and his parents, Raymond and Clementine Frie.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, September 11th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call 10-11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery in Woodstown.
