Michael E. Gibbon, 54, of Pennsville passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on Monday June 26, 2023.
He is survived by his mother Ann Troupe Hallock, Uncle William C. Troupe, Aunt Nancy Hocknell, cousins, Lori Tomlin (Vernon), Steven Troupe (Dawn Luzzo Troupe), Kenneth Troupe (Dawn). Also close family friend Aunt Peggy Butler, and his beloved dog Puck.
Predeceased by his Father Harry E. Gibbon III.
Mike was a 1986 graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School and a 1988 graduate of Salem Community College earning an associate degree.
He was employed by Wire Pro Inc. Salem for approximately 22 years in the Quality Control Department. After his tenure with WPI he worked in the Quality Department of Brite Lights Inc., in Barrington, for approximately 3 years. He then was employed by Rhoads Industries in Philadelphia, where he obtained his Welding Inspector Certification, until his illness.
Mike was an avid sports enthusiast and loyal fan of the Phillies, Eagles, and Notre Dame.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at Saint Gabriel the Arch Angel Church, 369 Georgetown Road, Carney's Point on Wednesday, July 5th, at 11 AM, with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will be at the Saint Mary's Cemetery, Walnut Street, Salem following mass.
