Harry "Marvin" Powers
September 20, 1941- June 3, 2023
Marvin Powers, 81, of Pennsville, New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on June 3 2023. After a short stay at Cooper University Hospital.
We were able to bring him home for one last sunset on the river.
Marvin graduated from Woodstown High School, then joined the United States Marine Corps. and served in Vietnam.
He worked at Chrysler Corporation Network Delaware where he retired in 1999 and took his "dream job" at Carlson's Auto Parts. Marvin enjoyed being near the water. After a short time in Florida, he returned to Pennsville to purchase a home on the river. Anyone who knew him, knew he loved to talk, tell stories and get the latest gossip! You could find him at the Deepwater Diner or with his Woodstown boys Friday mornings.
In the last few years, Marvin visited his wife, Bonnie G. Powers of 34 years at Carney's Point Care Nursing home everyday he wasn't at dialysis.
