Barbara B. Johnson, 81 of Pennsville, NJ passed away at home after a difficult time of pain due to liver cancer on Tuesday February 28, 2023.

Barbara was born in Wilmington, Delaware to Albert Jamison and Mildred Bodine on May 10, 1941. She was a life long resident of Salem County, NJ. She graduated from Penns Grove Regional High School in 1959. She married her husband Edward T. Johnson Jr. in March of 1963. Barbara held a few job positions over the decades (bank teller, school lunch aide and working in the surrogates office), but her primary focus was always being a loving wife and devoted mother to her two children. She loved playing the piano, knitting, walking, donating food to those in the community, spending time with family and friends and most importantly serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Barbara is survived by her son Michael E. Johnson and daughter in law Mary Lee Johnson of Carneys Point, NJ and son Mark E. Johnson of Pennsville, NJ as well as three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents Albert Jamison and Mildred Bodine and her husband Edward T. Johnson Jr.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday March 8th at 11:00am where friends may call from 10 to 11:00am.
