Darlene Rose Patterson, aged 81, of Pennsville, NJ, passed away on February 12, 2023 leaving a "Dar-Dar" sized hole in the hearts of her family. Darlene was born in Mannington, NJ to the late Odis Collier Sr. and Alma (Moriarty) Collier on April 22nd, 1941. She grew up in Quinton, NJ with her three siblings, and graduated from Salem High School before settling down in Pennsville, NJ. She spent her life, being a homemaker, bingo player, enjoying the piano, baking cookies, and loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Patterson Jr., and her siblings, Odis Collier, Jr., Joseph Collier, and Connie Fredo. She is survived by her daughter, Helen "Candy" McDevitt, her granddaughters, Kristen Saddler (Eric) and Samantha Davenport (Ryan), her six great grandchildren: Eric Saddler Jr., Elias Saddler, Ezra Saddler, Eliana Saddler, Blake Davenport and Reese Davenport, her brother-in-law, Andy Fredo Sr., nephews Andy Fredo Jr. and Chris Fredo, and her great nephew, Gage Fredo, and great niece, Mara Fredo.
