Maryann Carol Carnella (Librizzi), 62, of Pennsville, NJ was called home to be with the Lord on February 9th, 2023. She passed away peacefully at home glowing and surrounded by her loving family. Maryann was born in Rockaway, NY on August 18th, 1960 to Joseph Librizzi and Theresa Librizzi (Bongo). She grew up in Valley Stream, NY along with her 4 siblings; Joseph, Camille, Linda and Michael. Maryann attended South High School in Valley Stream (1979) & continued her education at Adelphi University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in nursing. Maryann lived for her nursing career which spanned over 25 years of dedicated service where she had a passion for working with adolescents, children, and babies. Maryann raised two children, Joey and Michelle Carnella, with Thomas Carnella. The Carnella's moved to Pennsville, New Jersey in the early 1990's. Maryann was a loving mother, sister, daughter, grandmother (Mimi) and friend who went above and beyond to care for everyone she came in contact with. Maryann enjoyed an abundance of hobbies and was well known for her lush gardens, extensive macramé creations, and candy making. All summer long you could find Maryann & family at the beach, strolling the boardwalk, searching for seashells and swimming. Maryann was quirky and adored by most for that! She truly had a lust for life and was a dreamer all the way up until her final days. She will be missed and treasured by all who were touched by her. Maryann is now sharing space in heaven with her mother; Theresa Librizzi, father; Joseph Librizzi, and sister; Camille Codoluto. Maryann will be missed dearly by her long-time loving companion and fiancé Randy Rowen. She will be missed by her caring son, Joseph Carnella, daughter in law Jennifer Niblock, and granddaughter Abrianna Stiteler; and loving and devoted daughter Michelle Carnella. Brother; Joseph Librizzi and his wife Lena Librizzi; Brother; Michael Librizzi and loving cherished Sister and best friend; Linda Librizzi. Maryann is survived by countless Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins whom she adored. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 PM on Thursday February 16th at the Saint Gabriel the Archangel Parish/Corpus Christy Church, 360 Georgetown Rd., Carneys Point, NJ. Friends and family may call Wednesday evening February 15th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and again on Thursday from 10:00 to 11:30 AM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, 1 N. Broadway Pennsville, NJ.
