Obituary of Louise H. Schroeder

Please share a memory of Louise to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Louise Schroeder, nee Wilson, 72, went to heaven peacefully surrounded by her family on 1/4/2023. She is reunited with her husband, Edward Stephen Schroeder, who she missed terribly for 27 years. Louise is survived by her only child, Stephanie L Montagna and her grandchildren Daulton, Patrick, Mary-Louise, Gehrig, Eugene Jr, Andrew and Alexis and their father Eugene Montagna Sr. (Beth). She also survived by numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Louise was one of 13 children born in Mississippi to Ruby and Aaron Harrison who proceeded her in death and is survived by her sisters, Dilma aka Pickle and Kate as well as her brothers Troy, Billy and Paul. Louise's world revolved around her family, especially her grandkids. She was so proud of all their accomplishments and would brag about them to anyone who would listen. She could always be found at one of their numerous sporting events being their biggest cheerleader and supporting them. Louise loved helping others and loved volunteering her time at the MASCEC Food Bank when she was physically able and loved giving back to the community. She worked for many years at the Salem Memorial Hospital as a Pharmacy Technician where she met her best friend that became like family, Robin Doak. Louise had countless friends who she adored and cherished, all who will miss her dearly cause to know her was to love her and all would say she was the kindest sweetest person. Per her request, Louise will be cremated, and a Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date in the summer, which was her favorite season. In lieu of flowers or to honor her memory, please make donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a charity she held dear to her heart. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
