Obituary of Darren M. Tilton

On Saturday, December 10th, 2022, Darren Matthew Tilton passed away at the age of 54 after a long battle with Myelodysplastic Syndrome/Leukemia. Darren was a lifelong Pennsville resident. He graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 1986. He was employed as a parts manager at Hunter Peterbilt. Darren is survived by his high school sweetheart of 30 years, Theresa Tilton (Durham), his daughters Caitlin and Dannielle, son Matthew, and his beloved grandson, Greyden. He is also survived by his father Paul Tilton Jr., Sister Tracy (Mark) Murphy, brothers Paul A. Tilton and David (Lee) Tilton, nephew Mickey (Samantha) Tilton, nieces Ashley (Ricky) Heinlein, and Brittney (Chad) Mitchell, in-laws Butch and Gail Durham, sister-in-law Glennda Nelson and niece Alicea Nelson. Darren is preceded in death by his mother, Judith Tilton. Darren was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending time watching the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and WVU football in his garage "McTilton's Pub" with family and friends. He loved his lawn and spent many hours perfecting it. No one was better at making the group laugh at obscure references to movies and music. He loved golf, a good game of cornhole, and thoroughly enjoyed yahtzee with the Buechlers. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 16th at 11am.
