Bertha, "Bobbie" Booz, age 92, of Carney's Point, NJ, passed away peacefully

in her sleep on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. She was born on June 12,

1930, and was the daughter of the late Earl and Hazel Minner.

A lifelong New Jersey resident, Bobbie was a graduate of Salem High School.

She met and married the love of her life, Leslie Booz, and they built a

beautiful life together. She created a warm and loving home, and she and

Leslie raised their two sons in the heart of South Jersey. She also enjoyed a

lengthy career with Myra's Flower Shop in Pennsville. During the course of

her many years there, she created thousands of beautiful arrangements for

the people in her community, which gave her a great sense of pride. Christmas was her absolute favorite holiday, and she loved hosting Christmas Eve for her family. She enthusiastically enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City to play the one-arm bandits and she loved a good game of bingo. Above all else, her family meant the world to her and spending time with them was what she cherished most. Bobby was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her beautiful smile and loving presence, will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie was preceded in death by her beloved

husband of 53 years, Leslie H. Booz Jr.; her son, Leslie "Lee" Booz III; her

sister Elmira "Skeedie" Minner, and her brother Earl "Buddy" Minner. She is

survived by her son Brian S. Booz (Debbie) of Elkton, MD, and her daughter-

in-law, LouAnne Booz of Woodstown, NJ; eight grandchildren: Jared Booz

(Missy), Kristen Todd (Ian), Laura Kramer (Jim), Jessica DeVita (Marc),

Danielle Lester, Katie Roberts (Steve), Jennifer Dion (Eric), and Matthew

Phillips (Kate), and fifteen great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on December 6, 2022, at 11:00 AM. Family and friends may gather between10:00 – 11:00 prior to the service at Laughrey Funeral Home, One North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ. Interment will follow the services at St. Georges Cemetery at 305 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ.
