Barbara Lee James, age 72 of Pennsville died at home peacefully surrounded by family following a brief illness on Sunday October 2, 2011. She was born on August 23, 1939 in Cumberland, MD and was the daughter of the late Edward and Edna Mae Martin Roberson Shanholtz Barbara graduated in Deridder Louisiana in 1958. She liked crafts and playing cards. Survived by daughters, Gaylynn Spencer and her husband Troy of Charlotte, NC, Wendy R. Crescenzi and her husband Jim of Pennsville, grandchildren, Troy D. and Jessica D. of Charlotte, NC and Bari Lyn and Jamie M. Of Pennsville, sister, Patricia DeVore of Knoxville, TN and many aunts, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her husband of 42 years Marvin R. James (2002). Barbara and Marvin where married on October 1st 1958. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Memorial Home & Hospice of Salem County, 390 N. Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
