Benjamin C. Winfield Jr., 84, of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on September 24, 2022.

Ben was born in Deepwater, New Jersey to Benjamin Winfield Sr., and wife Jean Hyland Winfield on March 19, 1938. He went to Penns Grove High School until joining the Navy in 1955. He worked as an Electrician and Instrument Mechanic for DuPont for 35 years, then went on to volunteer and work for Emergency Management in Pennsville for 22 years. He enjoyed his time in the Deepwater Boys, HAM Radio, and loved airplanes and going to Air Shows. In his younger years, he was very involved in activities at Queen of the Apostles Church. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.

Ben is survived by his wife, Cecelia E. Winfield of Pennsville, his sister Jean Massari (Mano), his brother Bill Winfield (Joan), his children, Keith Winfield (Pam), Scott Winfield (Annette), and Tracey Teed. His grandchildren, Adam Winfield (Katie), Crystal Winfield, Josh Teed (Tara D'Ottavio), Andrew Winfield, and Lexi Teed and his great-granddaughter, Olivia Winfield (the newest edition to the family). He was pre-deceased by his parents Ben Sr. and Jean Winfield and son in law, George William Teed.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday October 3rd at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service Father Robert D'Imperio officiating. Private burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Pennsville Visiting Nurses Association. Checks may be made out to Pennsville VNA and mailed to 14 North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ, 08070.
