Karen T. Accard-Butler, age 53 of Pennsville died Friday September 16, 2011 at her residence. She was born in East Orange, NJ on May 1, 1958 and is the daughter of Consuelo Juan Costa Accard of Brick, NJ and the late Ralph Accard. Karen was a longtime Salem County resident. She was formerly employed as a registered nurse for the Christiana Care Hospital, Newark, DE, Nemours at A.I. DuPont and was currently working for Keystone Mercy as a registered nurse/case manager. She also volunteered for diabetes, cancer and child needs organizations. Besides her mother she will be sadly missed by her husband, Thomas Butler, and her children, Brittany Butler and Austin Butler, and a brother, Ralph Accard. She will be loved always and missed by many. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM at the Salem County F.O.P. in Pennsville where friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
