Obituary of John A. Lawler

John A Lawler Place of Birth: Wilmington, Delaware John Attix Lawler (1956 – 2021) 65 of Pennsville, NJ died on November 14th surrounded by his loving family. John was simply a warrior for Christ. He was a part of the River Church in Penns Grove for many years. John assisted with outreaches in Philly, and in Salem County. John was a consistent minister to the Salem County Correctional Facility, but his passion was prayer, and praying for others, even on the spot. John was part of the churches weekly prayer team and was always praying for missing children. He is the beloved son of the late John and Delores (Farro) Lawler. He was employed by Advanced Auto and worked part time as a dog-sitter. In Johns earlier years he was a (self-taught) computer programmer. John is survived by his children, Travis and Casey who reside in Florida. Brothers Steven (Lisa), David, Adam (Suzanne), sisters Brenda (Randy Herrin), Stephanie Lawler and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Carney's Point EMS Paramedic Ian Roberts who treated John with the utmost respect and dignity. The family would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at Christiana Hospital for the love and care they provided. In remembrance of Johns life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to River Church, 222 S Broad Street Penns Grove, NJ. The donation will go to the renovations of the Prayer Room in his honor. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. "Walk with the King and be a blessing to others."
