Michael J. Petro, Jr. (Mike Monster), 86, of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021. He is survived by his wife Madeline, children Michele (Bill), Michael (Vicki), Nadine (Joe), Paula (Big Lou), Joe (Barb), Maria (Rich), and his eleven grandchildren, Sydney, Anthony, Niki, Samantha, Anna, Bella, Jaden, Gabby, Joseph, Jacob, and Lucas. He is also survived by his brother Joseph (Penny) of Winter Park, Florida, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased in death by his siblings John, Marianne, Paul, and Barbara. Mike is a graduate of King's College, Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania and Rutgers University, New Jersey. Most of his professional career was spent in education and coaching football in the Pennsville School District. He will be remembered for many things but especially for his devotion to God, family, the game of golf, as well as his keen ability to converse. Mass will be held at St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, Corpus Christi Church, 369 Georgetown Road, Carney's Point, New Jersey 08069, on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 9 AM. Burial will be private.
