Joseph John Baer (Pap) passed September 23, 2021 at his home in Pennsville. He was born April 16, 1929. He has been a Pennsville resident since he married Peggy Harris Johnson in 1989 until her passing in 2019. Pap proudly served our country in the Navy during World War II. He worked for and retired from Chrysler in 1987. He enjoyed crossword puzzles in the morning with his cup of coffee and his beloved pets around him. He loved family events and cookouts, especially if it involved eating crabs. Children brought him sunshine and laughter. Holidays were big and special to him. He carved our turkeys with love, even down to sneaking the dogs a bite while doing so! He was kind and compassionate and had a sweet and loving soul. He enjoyed the Eagles whether it was the NFL version or the little ones right here in Pennsville. He was a fan! He leaves behind children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to hold onto his memories. His service will be private.
