Charles F. Gross, Jr. age 74 of Newark, DE died Wednesday September 22, 2021, at his residence. He was born in Salem, NJ and was the son of the late Charles F. Gross, Sr., and Rosella Gross. He was a former resident of Carneys Point, NJ and living in Newark, DE for the past 35 years. He was employed as Union Millwright Local of Delaware where he retired following many years. He also owned and operated Charles Gross Unlimited Construction Handyman for many years. He was a Vietnam Marine Corps Veteran. He was and avid biker and rode not trailed his bike to all the major biker rallies throughout the country. Survived by his wife of 20 years, Elaine V. Redmond Gross, daughter, Christine M. Watson of Pennsville, grandchildren, Lily Watson, and Landon Watson of Pennsville. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and especially his grandchildren whom he adored. Predeceased by a brother, Michael Gross. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday September 28th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
