Thomas L (Tom) Seeney, Sr, age 92 of Pennsville, New Jersey passed away on September 2, 2021. Tom was born in Salem NJ to Joseph B. Seeney and Laura G Seeney on November 15, 1928. Tom went to high school at Salem, NJ and graduated in 1949. He worked as a Millwright for DuPont Chambers Works for 39 years. He enjoyed playing softball, swimming, bowling and wood carving.
Tom is survived by his wife, Louise C Seeney (nee Counsellor) of 71 years, daughter Carol Rutkowski and Dottie Thornton (Kirk), sister Mary Miller, brother Ronnie Seeney, 5 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his son, Thomas L Seeney Jr., parents Joseph B Seeney and Laura G. Seeney. Siblings Albert Seeney, James Seeney, Jack Seeney, Florence Fithian, Josephine Radar, Gertrude Lake, Dorothy Blaker, Jean Guglielmo, and Joann Zarin.
Funeral service will be held at Eglington Cemetery, 320 Kings Hwy, Clarksboro, NJ. on October 15, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Thomas Perry of Trinity Methodist Church officiating. Laughrey Funeral Home will be handling the funeral arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to make a tribute donation, to be made in Tom's memory, to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. www.Alz.org (Donate).
