Obituary of Evarista Yolanda Orihuela

Yolanda went home to be with the Lord on July 31, 2021.
Born on May 17, 1938 in Guanabacoa, Cuba to Eladio Orihuela y Rodriquez and Alejandra Garciga y Orihuela.
With the help of her husband, Pedro Perez, she and their children, sacrificed everything to leave Cuba to immigrate to America for a better life of freedom and opportunity.
One of her proudest moments was becoming a United States citizen!
Yolanda worked at Marilyn's Dress Factory in Salem.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading and telling stories. Yolanda was always singing and loved listening to music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two brothers, Oscar Orihuela and Jesus Orihuela and her second husband Saturnino (Tony) Figueroa.
Yolanda is survived by her four sons, Abel (Dawn), Jonas (Karen), Michael, and Peter Perez and her nephew David Perez. Her grandchildren, JJ, Stephanie, Paul, Brad and Ally Perez and her great grandchildren Ariana, Violet and Lincoln, many nieces and nephews and her cat FaFa.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 Friday at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
