Obituary of Corinne J. Bell

Corinne Joyce Curriden Bell, 90, of Woodstown, passed away on April 18, 2021, at Vitas Healthcare Hospice, Stratford, New Jersey. Corinne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. A caring warm hearted person, she never met a feral cat that she didn't try to take in. A 1948 graduate of Penns Grove Regional High School, she was the prototype working mother of the 1950's and 60's, commuting to Delaware to work at clerical jobs at Bellanca Airfield in New Castle and at All American Engineering in Barley Mill, ending with her last job at Hygrade Bakery in Pennsville . She loved camping and enjoyed the many trips she took with her husband, Slim, to Maine and the Eastern Shore of Virginia. She worked tirelessly to maintain a loving home for her husband and sons. Never a complainer, she lived her life with dignity and grace and God saw fit to have her leave this life that way as well. She will be missed by many but especially by her formerly feral housemates, Max and Miss Kitty. She is survived by her son, Duane R. Bell, of Elsinboro, her grandchi1dren, Alicia L. Bell and Brendan A Bell, of Pennsville, her former sister-in-law, Jeanette DePrince, of Pennsville and her nephews, Russell and Randy Curriden, also of Pennsville. She was predeceased by her husband, Glendon J. Bell, her son, Glendon G. Bell and her brother, Russell Curriden. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday April 22nd at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 9:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Sharptown Methodist Cemetery.
