Obituary of Cora Jean Ritchie

Cora Jean Ritchie, age 79 of Pennsville died Sunday April 4, 2021 at the Salem Medical Center, Mannington Township, NJ. She was born in Coffeyville, KS and was the daughter of the late Clarence Bernard Anderson and Clyta Cecilia Johnson Anderson. Jean was a longtime Salem County resident. She formerly worked as a nurses aid at the Salem County Nursing Home, Mannington, NJ. She was a member of the Pennsville Church of the Nazarine. She loved music and played the piano, organ and keyboard. Survived by her loving and faithful husband of 39 years Joseph A. Ritchie, son, Roger Chance and his Fiancée Cindy Jennings of Carneys Point, NJ, stepson, Phillip Todd and his wife Autumn of Pennsville, sister, Peggy Lucchesi, Pennsville, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son, Brian Chance, and a sister, Martha Kay Stewart. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday April 9th at the Pennsville Church of the Nazarene where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
