Obituary of Beatrice M. Patterson

Beatrice Maureen Lee Patterson, 56 of Lower Alloways Creek, NJ passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Christiana Hospital with her family by her side. Bea was born August 8, 1964 in Philadelphia Pa and she is predeceased by her parents, George R. Lee and Beatrice M. Markley, step-mother Kathy Lee and sister Rita A. Lee. Known by many friends and family as "BeBe", She grew up in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania then later relocated to Pennsville Before moving to Lower Alloways Creek where the beautiful home she and her husband made became the hub for the entire family where many memories were made. Bea led a very active life and enjoyed every day to the fullest. She loved working out, shopping and so much more. In the summer she could be found spending her free time at her happy place, on the beach in Ocean City, NJ. Most of all, Bea enjoyed and cherished making memories and spending time with her 6 beloved grandchildren. Bea worked hard to help her husband grow their business, R&B Home Remodeling into the success it is today. She was also employed at PSE&G, where she worked in the cafeteria. Bea is survived by her adoring husband of 35 years Richard Patterson, Her Eldest Son Eddie Sterbach and his wife Tina of Pennsville NJ and her youngest son, Michael Lee and his wife Sierra of Lower Alloways Creek, NJ. In addition to her loving husband, sons and daughter in laws She is survived by her step father Lew Markley. Her siblings, Elizabeth Schemeld, Michelle Yangello (Frank), Sean Lee (Jean), Marty Lee (Diana), Jerry Lee, Tommy Lee, Bo Morais (Tracy), Shaun Morais (Monica). Her lifelong best friend, Joyce Kates as well as many nieces and nephews. Last but certainly not least, Bea leaves behind her 6 beloved grandchildren who were the light of her life, Kendall Lee, Sydney Lee, Savanna Sterbach, Jackson Lee, Maddie and Emma Sterbach. Mass of Christian Burial will held 1:00 PM on Monday March 22nd at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish/Corpus Christi Church, Carneys Point, NJ. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM prior to Mass at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ. Burial will be at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ.
